Chennai
Arrival Chennai airport at 11:00 hours, meet & transfer to a city hotel followed by lunch. Afternoon at 15:00 hours go for a half day tour including Gandhi Memorial, Kala Kshetra, Mylapore temple and Marine beach. Evening at 18:00 hours back to hotel for dinner & overnight.

Kanchipuram
Morning after breakfast at 08:30 hours drive to Kanchipuram [76 kms/1.5 hours]- the ancient capital of the Pallavas famous as a city of 1000 Temples and still has 124 shrines. Temples of Ekambareswarar, Kailasanatha, Sri Kamakshi and Varadarajaswamy are of interest. Kanchipuram is also famous for its silks. Lunch in a city restaurant at 14:00 hours and drive to Mahabalipuram, check in at hotel. Day at leisure or relax on the beach. Back to hotel at 18:00 hours for dinner and overnight.

Mahabalipuram- Pondicherry
Morning post breakfast at 08:00 hours visit the heritage site of Mahabalipuram- visiting Shore temple, Arjuna’s Penance, Krishna Mandapam, Five Rathas and beach. Check out and proceed to Pondicherry [Approx. 130 kms / 3 hours]. On arrival check in to hotel followed by lunch. Afternoon at leisure or free to explore on your own. Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.

Pondicherry
Morning after breakfast at 08:30 hours drive to visit Sri Aurob- indo Ashram, the city of dawn, which is 10 kms north of Pondicherry. Back to hotel for lunch at 13:00 hours, post lunch visit Auroville (City of Dawn) – a unique experiment in international living and in creating a new environment where men and women of all nationalities live together in harmony. Back to hotel at 17:00 hours for dinner and overnight.

Chidambaram
Post breakfast at 08:30 hours drive to Chidambaram (Approx 65 kms/1.5 hours) also called as Thillai, which has the famous Natarajan postures from the Bharatnatyam form of dance are depicted in sculpture. After lunch at local restaurant, drive to Tanjore (Approx.104 kms/3 hours) once the capital of Chola Kings, has the Brahadeswara temple. On arrival check in to the hotel for dinner & overnight.

Trichy
After breakfast at 08:30 hours leave for Trichy / Trichurapalli (Approx. 54 kms/2 hours), situated on the banks of Kaveri River is a blend of history and tradition as well as pilgrim centre, it is famous for Ranganath temple at Srirangam. Check in at hotel followed by lunch. Post lunch visit Rock Fort and other temples around Trichy. Back to hotel at 17:30 hours for dinner & overnight.
